About Us

My name is Jose and I am the owner of Class 1 Paving and Landscaping. I run this business with the help of my wife, Lidia. I have been in the construction business since my teenage years, and specifically in paving and landscaping for the last 26 years. It's fair to say that I have gained a bit of experience on the do's and don't's of asphalt handling and landscaping projects.

From 1991 to 1994 I worked for a company based in Provo, Utah called C and C Asphalt and Landscaping. In 1995 I moved to New Jersey and started working for a local and highly reputable paving company from which I left in 2016. In 2006 I also started up my own part-time sealcoating business which was active for 11 years, finally closing it in 2017 to make room for Class 1 Paving & Landscaping.

This time around, I will be dedicating myself full-time to my own business, working with asphalt, sealcoating, and landscaping so that we can offer you the most in outdoor home upkeep. As always we will be keeping that quality you look for in a specialist.
